Architecture Week is on it’s way again! For all you architecture junkies out there, this is the best week of the year. Here’s a preview of some of the events for the week of October 6-11:

Library Lecture Series

Tuesday 10/6/09 at 7 pm   “Custom Residential – Designs for the Desert”  at River-Dusenberry Library

Wednesday 10/7/09 at 7 pm “Double the ‘Green’ with Simply Sustainable Design” at Kirk-Bear Canyon Library

Thursday 10/8/09 at 7 pm ” Don’t Block Energy Savings” at Miller-Golf Links Library

Saturday 10/10/09 at 2 pm “Small + Green: Living for Now” at Himmel Park Library.

Don’t miss the American Institute of Architects 17th annual home tour that will be the grand finale of Architecture Week happening on  Sunday, October 11, 2009 10 am – 4 pm.  This tour will include the Tucson home featured on ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover.

This year the theme is “Tucson’s Diversity of Design Solutions”

Home tour tickets are $25 each and a portion of the ticket sales benefit Habitat for Humanity. Tour tickets can be purchased at Bookman’s Tucson locations and other locations throughout town.
