About the neighborhood
Skyline Bel Air Estates is a beautiful community located in the Catalina Foothills area of Tucson. The area is known for its city and mountain views; with the Catalina Mountains just to the north. Homes are situated on large lots, located in a peaceful desert setting with plenty of native flora and fauna. Search Skyline Bel Air homes for sale.
The community consists of about 425 custom homes, at an elevation ranging from 2600 to 3000 feet, is about 10 miles north of downtown Tucson, and 15 miles east of I-10. The neighborhood is bounded roughly by Skyline to the north, Sunrise to the south, Craycroft to the east, and Swan to the west.
Skyline Bel Air is part of the Catalina Foothills School District #16 with Sunrise Drive Elementary (which is in the south east portion of the neighborhood), Orange Grove Middle, and Catalina Foothills High schools serving the neighborhood.

Skyline Bel Air Neighborhood Amenities
Residents have access to a recreation center which features a junior Olympic size pool, ramada, tennis, and basketball courts. The neighborhood is convenient to services, with shopping and restaurants approximately 1/2 mile away. DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun is located just north of the property.
A brief history of Skyline Bel Air
Originally an old cattle ranch, and western film location, development began in 1964. The lots range in size from approximately .5 acre to a little over an acre.

- Views! Views! Views! Terrific mountain and city views are abundant here.
- Close to great restaurants like Bazil’s, Bisbee Breakfast Club, Fiamme Pizza, and Trattoria Pina to name a few choices.
- Close to La Encantada for shopping at a beautiful outdoor mall.
- Nice community amenities: pool, tennis, picnic ramada.
- Within the Catalina Foothills School District and close to the Sunrise Drive Elementary
