Rob Paulus’ current and past projects
Architect Rob Paulus, AIA, LEED AP is known in Tucson for his environmentally friendly, modern, and all around cool buildings. His company, Rob Paulus Architects, has created some of the most talked about residential developments in town including the Ice House Lofts (2005), Barrio Metalico (2004), Indigo Modern (2007), and 18th Street Bungalows (2018). Paulus has also worked on a variety of commercial and industrial projects including Barrio Grill, Elastek Warehouse, Camp Lowell Corporate Center and One+Five North Fifth (downtown). In March 2010 Sunset Magazine named Tucson one of the ’20 Towns of the Future’, due in part by Paulus’ uniquely modern creations.
Some of the things that make his projects so environmentally friendly are the use of active water harvesting with water holding tanks, solar water heating, photovoltaic solar panels, building re-use, and infill projects.
